Question & Answer

We are discussing Journeys through Australia
With Ian Henderson, Leanne Mousley, Bev Malzard

Question:
How important is travel insurance for travelling seniors?

Answer:
Leanne - Taking travel insurance is the most important part of arranging a journey. It is strongly recommended that clients take out travel insurance when they initially pay a deposit on a holiday. Once travel insurance is taken out the clients are automatically covered for unforseen circumstances that may happen before they go on their holidays, such as an illness not relating to a pre-existing medical condition, or any unforseen circumstance covered on their policy. It is very important that seniors read the product disclosure statement included in the travel insurance brochure to understand what is covered and what is not.
