Question & Answer

We are discussing Journeys through Australia
With Ian Henderson, Leanne Mousley, Bev Malzard

Question:
What are some of the most important things seniors need to consider when planning a trip?

Answer:
Leanne - There are several important things that seniors need to consider when planning a trip, some of them are:

  • what type of holiday/tour they want to experience
  • how much touring / activities do they want to pre-book and how much free time would they like
  • what standards of accommodation would they like to stay
  • what is their budget for the holiday
  • which airlines would they feel comfortable flying on
  • do they want to stop-over en-route to break the journey
  • how much spending money will they need
  • what is the best time of year to be travelling to these destinations
  • travel insurance is a must
  • It is important to discuss with your travel consultant your needs, and then they can make suggestions based on their experience they feel will best suit the travellers needs. Consultants have lots of experience in organising travel for all kinds of people – for example, at National Seniors Travel consultants all have over 10 years experience, some 20 years – so they are able to assist clients when they are considering these options.
