Question & Answer

We are discussing Journeys through Australia
With Ian Henderson, Leanne Mousley, Bev Malzard

Question:
I am an international senior who wants to travel in Australia. Can I use my international pensioner card for discounts?

Answer:
Ian - Thousands of travel related businesses around Australia offer discounts to Australian Seniors Card holders. These businesses are usually very willing to extend discount offers to seniors from other countries that have a similar card. Train trips on The Indian Pacific, The Ghan and The Overlander are an exception since concessions on these trains are only available to Australian pensioner concession card holders since the concessions are funded by the Australian Government.
