We are discussing Journeys through Australia
With Ian Henderson, Leanne Mousley, Bev Malzard

Question:
What discounts and concessions do Seniors Cards entitle card holders to?

Answer:
Ian-Concessions on public transport and other Government funded services vary from State and Territory. Details are available on each website. See Seniors Card

An extensive range of discounts on goods and services are offered to Senior Card holders. Each state and territory programme produces a directory that is posted to members. Some states and territories also produce an online directory e.g. Seniors Card NSW has an online search engine called “Find Discounts” to identify discounts available to NSW Seniors Card holders. Generally businesses around Australia are happy to extend discounts to Seniors Card holders from other states. Government funded transport concessions are not available to Senior Card holders from other states, with the exception of Tasmania and Northern Territory.
