Question:
My wife and I are keen bushwalkers and have heard that the Larapinta Trail in the Northern Territory is the ‘ultimate desert walk’. How long is the trail.

Answer:
Bev - This is a long distance walking track that runs along the backbone of the West MacDonnell Ranges. It runs for 223 kilometres beginning at the Alice Springs Telegraph Station and ending at Mt Sonder.
