The Aged-care Rights Service Incorporated (TARS) is an advocacy service in New South Wales for older residents of nursing homes, hostels and retirement villages and people receiving Community Aged Care Packages (CACP).

TARS assists impoverished, distressed or helpless individuals and/or groups who are disadvantaged and lack sufficient financial or other resources or access to such resources, to adequately protect, advance or represent their interest.

For free and confidential advice, printed information about the aged care system, general inquiries, or to arrange for one of their experienced staff to call you, just phone 02 9281 3600, New South Wales country callers can phone toll-free 1800 424 079.
