Strength Training can increase physical strength, improve balance and mobility, keep bones healthy, enable greater participation in other sports and fitness activities and increase self-image. Maximum benefit is gained from ongoing, progressive training for the long term. You can find out more at your nearest gym, health centre or local council. Always consult your doctor prior to starting any sort of physical training program.

Living Longer Living Stronger is a program designed by COTA Victoria which aims to increase the range and quality of strength training opportunities for older Australians.
