Seniors information booklets

The Australian Government Department of Family and Community Services produces a range of free booklets that provide practical and easy to read information on topics such as investment options, accommodation choices, concessions, seniors' organisations, and other support available.

These publications have been produced with industry bodies, other agencies and community groups to help people improve their lifestyle in retirement. The publications are:

• Australian Retirees- Your Choices is a valuable guide to services, concessions & seniors organisations for self-funded retirees.
• Investing Money- Your Choices will help you understand the range of investment options available to you - and you don’t need to be a lawyer or accountant to understand it!
• Moving House- Your Choices gives practical advice on buying, selling, renting and the actual move.
• Home and Residence Choices for Older People provides helpful information on accommodation and care options for older Australians.
• Understanding Retirement Income Streams which explains income streams and how they might be used in retirement planning.
