Seniors Week 2009
Seniors Week or Month is a special time of celebrations for seniors in all states and territories. It recognises the valuable contributions seniors all over Australia make to our community.
During this time seniors - and indeed all generations - can participate in a wide range of different events in metropolitan, regional and rural areas.
The celebrations include:
- Information sessions on activities such as computing, dancing, cooking, exercise and the environment
- Concerts
- Movies
