Seniors Week 2007

Seniors Week, or month, happens every year in each state and territory. Seniors Week celebrates the valuable contribution that seniors make to the Australian community. Hundreds of events happen each year, including events in metropolitan areas and rural and regional areas. This week can be fun and entertaining for all generations and is a great opportunity for all to say 'thank you' to our seniors.
The celebrations may include:
- Concerts and dancing
- Exhibitions and movies
- Learning new exercises such as Tai-Chi and sailing, and
- Information sessions run by different groups
