About Vinni Dang

I am a Nutritionist, currently working at the Heart Foundation in the ACT. I graduated from the University of Canberra and am presently completing my Masters in Dietetics from the University of Wollongong.

I recently changed career from Software Engineering to Nutrition which in many ways is another type of engineering anyway. I have always had a strong interest in food and health, and maintained a philosophy that ‘food is your medicine, and medicine is your food’. I have empowered family and friends to actively engage in preventative health and consider remediation for certain illnesses through diet therapy. Studying Nutrition and Dietetics has provided me with a biological basis to understand this philosophy, and the ability to pursue my dream career.
