About Keith Hill

Keith HillI am a physiotherapist, and Director of the Preventive and Public Health Division of the National Ageing Research Institute (NARI). I have over 25 years experience in providing exercise programs and rehabilitation programs for older people across a broad spectrum of health, from those who are generally well who want to maintain or improve their health, through to those with health problems such as stroke, hip fracture or falls.

NARI is a multi-disciplinary research organisation that undertakes research and provides training to improve health and well-being for older people. One of the many areas researched at NARI includes assessing different types of physical activity for older people. Our research and that of others internationally, have highlighted the many benefits able to be achieved when older people exercise.
