About Diana O'Brien
Diana O’Brien is a member of the Australian Institute of Horticulture and the Horticultural Media Association of NSW. She has been a garden columnist for twenty three years; fourteen years writing for The Canberra Times and for the last nine years for The Chronicle.
Diana is a life member, and currently President, of the Canberra Geranium and Fuchsia Society. Although a keen observer of all things horticultural- from alfalfa to zantedeschia, she has a special interest in species Pelargoniums and “Cranesbills’- the hardy, herbaceous Geraniums; as well as a productive no-dig vegetable plot.
Her book ‘Growing Geraniums and Pelargoniums” was published by Kangaroo Press in 2001.
