About Brian Walters

Brian is a (very!) recently retired Civil Engineer who has been growing and propagating Australian native plants for over 30 years. He is a life member of the New South Wales' region of the Australian Plants Society and a member of the Blue Mountains district group of that Society. Brian has held numerous executive positions including seed bank curator, programme officer and editor of the state newsletter. He set up the national website for the Federal body of the Association of Societies for Growing Australian Plants (ASGAP) in 1995 and still maintains and develops the site.

Brian is a keen photographer and many of his photos are featured in the Photo Gallery of the ASGAP website. He has also authored numerous articles on Australian native plants for magazines such as 'Your Garden' and 'Gardens and Backyards'.
