About Kristen Hazelwood

Kristen HazelwoodI am a Diabetes Educator at Diabetes Australia- New South Wales. I have a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education from Deakin University, The Royal Melbourne Hospital, a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Tasmania and a Bachelor of Science from Macquarie University. I have worked as a nurse educator at Northern Group Training and as a Clinical Nurse Consultant at Hobart District Nursing Service.

I was manager of the Tasmanian Insulin Treated Diabetes Register, and worked as a project co-ordinator for Diabetes Research Programs and Tasmanian Prostate Cancer Research, Tasmanian Diabetes Family Research and Research into Syndrome X.
