The Pharmaceutical Allowance provides financial assistance to help people purchase prescription medicines available through the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).

No separate claim for Pharmaceutical Allowance is needed as it is assessed as part of a claim for a Centrelink Pension or Allowance.
