If you are enrolled in, and undertaking an approved course of secondary or tertiary full time study, you may be eligible for this supplement. It is available to those who are receiving a Carer Payment, Disability Support Pension, Parenting Payment (single), Widow Allowance or a Wife Pension. Some Veterans' Affairs pensioners are also eligible.

How much you get depends on your study load and the payment you are on from Centrelink or Veterans' Affairs. It is not taxed and is paid over holidays if you continue with your studies. You may also be eligible for a one-off payment to help you with the up-front costs of taking up study.

Visit the Pensioner Education Supplement section of the Centrelink Website.
