The Australian Seniors Computer Clubs Association is a national peak body for seniors and technology.

The Australian Council of Social Service is a national peak body of the community welfare sector of Australia (ACOSS) with links to state councils of social service and related community organisations.

Probus is an association of retired and semi-retired men and women who join together in clubs, the basic purpose of which is to provide regular opportunities for them to keep their minds active, expand their interests and to enjoy the fellowship of new friends.


The Returned and Services League of Australia, The RSL, serves the interests of its members, veterans, the ex-service community and members of the Australian Defence Force through welfare, advocacy and representation and assistance to all veterans and ex-service men and women. Links to state branches are included on their web site.

The National Information Centre on Retirement Investment (NICRI) is an independent and comprehensive service available to Australians over 50.

The Benevolent Society of Australia has an excellent forum on the aged and ageing, events, volunteering etc. The society provides home, community based and residential care for older people, people with dementia, and carers.

Rotary is a worldwide organisation of professional and business people who contribute to local regional and national health and charity groups, implement cultural exchange programs, and whose member reflect a wide cross section of community representation.
