The NSW Transcultural Aged Care Service (TACS) is for aged care service providers, community organisations, carers and other members of the community, providing information about cross-cultural resources such as training, translated materials, recipes, demographic data, contacts and links.
TACS offers information and advice on:
- culturally and linguistically diverse care options
- culture and language based co-placement options
- language and religion based clustering
- annual Aged Care Approvals Round
- cultural competence training for aged care staff
- resources to assist the provision of culturally competent aged care.
The TACS website has a particular sections for individuals, resources, a multicultural aged care directory and much more.
