The internet has become a major resource for people all around the world who are interested in every genre of music. Most bands, artists and record lables have their own websites. Some general websites that are of good value to start off with are:

  • For Classical Music online the Australian Broadcasting Commission has the ABC Classic FM Radio section which provides a schedule of their programming of classical music on the radio as well as news, CD reviews, online listening, search and links features as well.
  • For all you need to know about Folk music in Australia, an excellent online resource is the website for the Folk Alliance of Australia. It contains directories for national and international performers, services, events, radio shows, web resources.
