Learning Circles are group discussions of between 5-15 individuals which create the opportunity to freely discuss issues of importance to individuals and society. For over 100 years, learning circles have proven to be an effective and practical method of learning and social change.

The aim of a Learning Circle is not to learn a lot of facts or attain 100% agreement. It is to deepen each person's understanding of the issues and empower them to act on their beliefs. It should be a democratic discussion amongst equals. Learning Circles are available to anyone, anywhere.

If you have organised a public program or a group activity, then you can be an organiser of a Learning Circle. Participants can shape the program to suit the needs of the sponsoring organisation and the community. Every Learning Circle is unique.

Also available through Learning Circles Australia is phone and web based support.
