Question & Answer

We are discussing Lifelong - Lifewide Learning
With Barbara Pamphilon, Dorothy Braxton, Mary Hannan and Gloria Robbins

Question:
I am a resident of a Retirement Village. A group of us have been meeting for over twelve months over a cup of tea/coffee. We would like to start discussing topics of interest and concern to us but have no idea how to start the conversation in a constructive way. Can you suggest a process?

Answer:
Mary - Have you thought of starting a learning circle activity? A learning circle is a small group of friends or interested people coming together to discuss topics of interest or topics of concern.

Generally someone volunteers to coordinate the activity and you are supported by some resource documents. Here is the website about Learning Circles http://www.learningcircles.org.au
