Question:
How do I save .pdf files? I have w98 and, IE browser and use dial-up. I can't save .pdf files in either My Documents or IE Favorites even though I tick the 'make available off line' check box. The files' properties indicates 'error downloading URL'.

Answer:
Gloria - I will tell you how I save a PDF file which is loaded under IE and Windows XP.

Click on File Save. The file is saved in the default folder with the extension '.pdf'.

You can then read it provided you have the free Acrobat reader program.

I would expect this to work under win98. Goodluck!
