Question & Answer

We are discussing Lifelong - Lifewide Learning
With Barbara Pamphilon, Dorothy Braxton, Mary Hannan and Gloria Robbins

Question:
I am seeking help in changing my career direction. I am currently working full-time but am seeking an analysis of my attitudes, skills and qualifications and guidance in moving into other fields in the education area . Can you tell me where I might find this type of support? I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.

Answer:
Barbara - The Australian-wide government web-site 'My Future' can give you a good start:
http://www.myfuture.edu.au/

There is also a national organisation for career counsellors – see the section “ locate a counsellor”
http://www.aacc.org.au/

Good luck with your decisions – it is so important to “seize the day” and take steps towards where you can gain the greatest rewards and make a difference.
