Question & Answer

We are discussing Lifelong - Lifewide Learning
With Barbara Pamphilon, Dorothy Braxton, Mary Hannan and Gloria Robbins

Question:
Do you run any (free or low cost) senior computer training programs in Melbourne West area (Sydenham/Brimbank)? If you need any volunteers for training (teach in basic computers, Internet, etc.), happy to help for free. I currently work as a Computer System Administrator. (NOT looking for employment)

Answer:
Dorothy - There are several U3As in the western suburbs of Melbourne holding low cost computer courses. They are listed below:

Third Age Learning Hobson's Bay (situated in Williamstown)
Hume U3A (situated in the Broadmeadows area)
U3A Melton
Moonee Valley Region U3A
Moreland U3A (covering the Moreland & Brunswick area)
U3A Werribee Region
U3A Western Region (situated in Footscray)
U3A Geelong (though this may be classed as a county area)
The U3A City of Melbourne - although in the city caters for students from all suburbs.

Please contact me in regard to volunteering. Thanks!
