With Barbara Pamphilon, Dorothy Braxton, Mary Hannan and Gloria Robbins

Question:
How do I apply for a course if I am not Australian? I am living in Australia as a permanent resi, but not a citizen?

Answer:
Barbara - If you are thinking of a course at a uni the good news is that if you are a permanent resident for the duration of your study you are eligible for the Commonwealth support system for higher education - when you go to http://www.goingtouni.gov.au/Main/Resources/ICSS/Default.htm you will see all the information you need.

The best thing for you to do next is to contact the Admissions Officer in the place where you want to study and see what they require for entry - and they may also direct you to one of the staff in that area to get more particular questions answered.
