Question & Answer

We are discussing Lifelong - Lifewide Learning
With Barbara Pamphilon, Dorothy Braxton, Mary Hannan and Gloria Robbins

Question:
Is it going to cost a great deal to set up a computer at home? Weekly? Monthly?

Answer:
Gloria - I can only supply you with some figures I took from the following site:
http://www.frequency.com.au/hire/computers/
Desktop: Weekly: $170 Monthly: $330
Laptop: Weekly: $160 Monthly: $320

These figures should give you a rough idea. It all depends on the type of computer system you want (desktop or laptop) plus perhaps a printer and scanner. You would need to add in delivery costs and most importantly find out what software is supplied with it. Check too on what insurance policy goes with it.

Try contacting several computer firms as prices can vary considerably. Some firms give you the option to buy the computer at a discounted price after it being rented to you.
