Job Placement Services are the Australian Government funded recruitment services, with more than 400 organisations delivering services from over 2500 offices across Australia. Job Placement Services are provided by private recruitment companies and other providers of Australian Government employment services, including Job Network and Disability Employment Network members, Indigenous Employment Centres and Australian Apprenticeship Centres. These organisations are called Job Placement Organisations or JPOs.

Job Placement Organisations are committed to providing free professional services for registered job seekers. They will match your skills against vacancies, refer you to suitable vacancies and, if you are successful, place you in the job. In most areas of Australia there are many Job Placement Organisations working with employers to source vacancies and each one works with different employers and industries. Talk to all the organisations in your local area to see which ones can work best for you, to help you find a job.

The Job Placement Services site provides information for job seekers, employers and recruitment services.
