Question:
I have arthritis in my hands and I am finding it difficult to turn my taps on and off. I am considering getting some new tap handles that are easier to turn, which ones should I get?

Answer:
Merridy - Lever tap handles with a long lever can be controlled by pushing with any part of your hand or arm. These are particularly useful for people with very poor grip strength or have severely deformed fingers. Single lever taps with a central spout are easier to control than lever mixer taps.

Tap turners are a cheap alternative to changing the tap head. These are devices, usually with a handle, that sit over the existing tap head. They provide a larger grip and leverage. There are a variety of models available to suit different tap head designs.
