With Deanne O'Keefe and Anne Clarke

Question:
Who is a grandparent for Child Care Benefit purposes?

Answer:
Anne - A grandparent is a person who is the natural, adoptive, or step grandparent of the child.

Great-grandparents who are looking after grandchildren are eligible in the same way as grandparents.

Current and former partners of grandparents are eligible in the same way as grandparents if they are the primary carer of the grandchild.
