Deanne, how did you know what to do when you started your support group?

Answer:
Deanne - Quite honestly... I didn't know the first thing about forming a support group!! When I could not find one, for myself, I decided to form one. I spoke to welfare workers, and organisations, picked a date, contacted media outlets, distributed flyers and it all flowed from there.

I thought about what I needed, and what others would probably need, and worked around those issues. I soon found that there were many more issues, of which I was unaware, and tried to find answers, or information regarding these.

Now, our support groups are all encompassing, and we are all learning every day. [I have always said that I am only the figurehead for our groups, and the ship is being steered by a higher authority.]
