Is there advice or training available for falls prevention techniques?

Answer:
Bev- Studies show that strategies which have the highest rates of success in falls reducing are those which combine a range of interventions utilized by individuals and health care providers. Three ways to help prevent and manage falls include:

*Fall-proof yourself. Consider your personal factors in fall risk and how these risk factor can be reduced.

*Fall-proof your surroundings. Environmental factors play a large part in fall risk. Look at how these can be reduced.

*What to do in the event of a fall – including how to minimise injury from the ground in the event of a fall.
