Question & Answer

We are discussing Falls Prevention
With Suzanne Ralston and Beverley Steer

Question:
I was wondering if you could please advise me what are the main risk factors or causes of falls?

Answer:
Bev -Physical injuries results from harmful contact between people and objects, substances, or other things in their surroundings.

Injury from falls in all ages can often be attributed to poor or deficient eyesight, problems with balance, lack of muscle strength, reduced bone density and quite possibly difficulties or confusion with consumption of medications, alcohol or illicit drug use.
