Panoramic Queensland

A State Library of Queensland Exhibition. In celebration of Queensland's 150 year history and the 75th anniversary of the John Oxley Library, Panoramic Queensland presents a unique selection of panoramic photographs from the John Oxley Library. The sweeping panoramas, with their continuous 110 degree (or more) views, were initially used to record and promote the emerging colony and its government. Today they capture the nostalgia of a bygone era and provide an exciting insight into our States ceremonial occasions, significant events and natural catastrophes.
