To qualify for a Disability Support Pension you must be permanently blind or have a disability, illness or injury, with a specified impairment rating and be unable to work fulltime.

You will need to provide Centrelink with a report on your impairment and your work capacity from your medical practitioner. You may also be required to attend a medical examination. Your income and assets and those of your partner must be below certain limits.

You may be eligible for a Pharmaceutical Allowance, an Employment Entry Payment, an Education Entry Payment or Rent Assistance.
