Recipe Source is an online archive directory for recipes from around the world. It is easy to use and read, and presents a wide range of foods and food ideas.

The recipe search engine on the website for the American publication Epicurious has over 16000 recipes, a solid section on cooking and preparation and additional resources of interest.

If you are missing one or two ingredients from a recipe, you don’t need to necessarily go and buy them (especially if the recipe calls for one tablespoon or similar). You can check the Cook’s Thesaurus for replacements or alternatives as well as information on more obscure ingredients.

Foodwatch provides an easy to read guide on foods and healthy diets for Australians over 50 with links to other documents that are of relevance.

The Australian Nutrition Foundation is a non-profit community based organisation that aims to provide scientifically based nutrition information to encourage all Australians to achieve a high level of health through food variety and physical activity. It provides excellent food and exercise information for Australians over 50.
