If you believe that you have been adversely affected by the defective administration of a Commonwealth department or agency, you may be able to get assistance from the Commonwealth Ombudsman.
The Ombudsman has an extensive range of powers to investigate complaints. In some cases, however, the Ombudsman may direct your complaint to another review body such as the Social Security Appeals Tribunal.
