Centrepay allows Centrelink customers to have regular amounts deducted from their Centrelink payments for various purposes, such as: private rent, gas, water, rates, electricity, telephone etc. Participation in Centrepay is voluntary and is provided free of charge to Centrelink customers.
The organisation to which these payments can be made must be registered with Centrelink before customers can start deductions.
Centrepay application forms are available from Centrelink Customer Service Centres, Call Centres and Centrepay service provider organisations.
