Access to quality aged care is a basic right for all older Australians regardless of their background or location. While there are many care and support services available that are designed to meet the needs of older Australians, some groups of people require specialised services.
Veterans, Indigenous Australians and people in rural and remote areas all have special needs in order to maintain a good quality of life. Below are the services available for these sectors of the population.
