Australian JobSearch is the national vacancy database and one of Australia's largest online employment websites.

Australian JobSearch is available on the Internet and on Touchscreens and Kiosks located in Centrelink, Job Network offices and Job Placement offices around Australia.

Key features of Australian JobSearch include:

  • convenience - with a few easy steps, job seekers can see the job opportunities in their area
  • resumes - every eligible job seeker in Australia will have their resume lodged on Australian JobSearch
  • Australian Training - a directory of vocational course information for education and training opportunities
  • the Active Participation Model - approximately 3,500 new vacancies are lodged every day on Australian JobSearch, and job seekers' resumes are automatically matched nightly to new vacancies, and
  • the Matching Process - registered job seekers will have their own personal Internet page and e-mail account allowing them to monitor their daily job matches from any Internet enabled computer and employer messages can be sent to job seekers.

Visit the JobSearch section of the Centrelink website or visit the Australian JobSearch website.
