If you are 45 or over and entering a new apprenticeship your employer may be eligible to attract a payment of $825 on commencement of your new apprenticeship and a further $825 when you successfully complete your apprenticeship.

To be eligible to attract Australian Apprenticeships you must also be one of:

  • receiving a specified income support from Centrelink or the Department of Veterans' Affairs
  • receiving Job Network Intensive Support
  • out of the paid workforce for three years prior to commencement
  • made redundant in the twelve months prior to commencing your new apprenticeship.
