Feedback
The Aged Care Act 1997 governs all aspects of the provision of residential care, flexible care and (Community Aged Care Packages) CACPs to older Australians.
The Act sets out matters relating to the planning of services, the approval of service providers and care recipients, payment of subsidies, and responsibilities of service providers.
There are also a number of sets of principles made under the Act, which provide further detail regarding the matters set out in the Act.
